This variation of a traditional cole slaw recipe is tasty, healthy and makes a beautiful presentation! Ingredients: 2 cups shredded green cabbage 2 cups shredded red cabbage 1 cup grated carrot 1/4 cup sunflower seeds 2 cups chopped or shredded cooked chicken 1/2 cup Asian sesame-ginger dressing 1 cup chow mien noodles Step-By-Step Instructions: ... Place both the red and green cabbage in a mixing bowl. ... Add carrots and toss. ... Fold in sunflower seeds. ... Add chicken making sure all ingredients is blended well. ... Cover the slaw with dressing making sure to coat well. (Note: you may want to let the slaw 'marinate' in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or so, just to allow the flavors to mingle a bit more) ... Place noodles in the bottom of a salad bowl. ... Spoon the slaw over the top of the noodles. Serve cold.
