7 Cool Ways To Re-Use Tea Bags
By Dee Gallemore
Hey Tea Drinkers! Are you wondering what to do with all those leftover tea bags? Here are a few really cool ideas: For Your Skin Under-Eyes: Used tea bags, especially chamomile tea bags, can be cooled in the refigerator and placed on the eyes for a relaxing, soothing treat. Insect Bites: Using a cooled used tea bag can provide relief. It seems the tannin in tea neutralizes the effects of the bite. Wart Treatment: Believe it or not, the tannin in tea also seems to help treat warts. By pressing a wet used tea bag on the affected area and letting the skin dry naturally, warts will eventually disappear. Note: Word has it that you need to repeat this treatment for a few days to see complete "healing" of warts. Cuts, Bruises & Sun Burn: For cuts and bruises, almost any variety of tea will do. However, chamomile, peppermint and green tea seem to have a much greater soothing effect. For sun burns, peppermint tea bags are said to be best. In any case, cool used tea bags and then place on the affected areas. Around the House Furniture Polish Remover: Drop a few used tea bags into boiling water; turn off heat and let the mixture cool. Soak a soft cloth in the liquid and carefully wring out excess moisture. Use to wipe off old furniture polish. Mirror and Windows: If you want sparkling mirrors or windows without using chemical cleaners, simply wrap a few wet used tea bags in a soft cloth and use to clean your mirrors or windows. Next, buff the surface with another soft, dry cloth and Voila! In the Garden Compost Booster: If you have a garden, tea bags make wonderful compost. All you have to do is add them to your compost heap . . . and just let nature takes its course. So go ahead and put some these "green" tips into action . . . you'll be providing natural solutions for common problems while being mindful of the the environment.

Those are some awesome tips. I love a relaxing cup of tea outdoors, and if I get stung I now know what to do with the bag. Great job, keep up the good work!
